The gaming world knows its time for the holiday season when gaming console developers like Nintendo and Microsoft – XBox start revving up rumors about upcoming releases. In Christmas seasons in the past, some of these rumors have created a frenzy that bordered on dangerous as thousands of gamers would line up at their favorite big box stores to be first in line to buy these new products.
Well, it must be time for 2016 holiday season as Ninendo has finally unveiled its latest console release of the Nintendo NX, which has been rebranded to the Nintendo Switch. Along with the upcoming release of the Nintendo Switch console, the company has also announced the release of new games for the new platform. Among the new games mentioned were the classic game Skyrim as well as a new version of Super Mario slated to be titled “Mario Kart.”
Some of the new console’s new features include the ability for gamers to take the gaming experience on the go, the detachable Joy-Co controllers that clip to the side of the console, the corresponding accessories and the ability to use the new Nintendo Switch Pro Controller, which gives gamers the opportunity to use the system in a more traditional way.
While it’s always difficult to get advance details about the software and hardware that will be used to power a new system, Nintendo has disclosed it will be using a custom Tegra processor, which has been designed to provide more focus on scalability of the hardware for future version releases.
Nintendo fans are sure to be sitting on pins and needles for the scheduled March 2017 release of the Nintendo Switch and its games. Until then, geek spies will be trolling the Internet for information to be shared related to this new console and it features.
